** This Is Not A Remote Position, You Are Required To Work Onsite, Day Shift M-F With Alternating Weekend/ Salary $22.00 - $27.00 / Paid Weekly** **knowledge of pulmonology disease PREFERRED**
We are looking for a dependable Pharmacy Technician that will help process prescriptions under the direction of a pharmacist. You must be detail oriented and reliable since the job has high responsibility. You must possess excellent communication skills as well as aptitude in using computers.
· Pharmacy Technician License or Certification preferred as granted by a nationally recognized certification agency.
· Proven ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced.
· Experience providing customer service to internal and external customers.
· Extreme attention to detail.
· Ability to read and interpret prescriptions.
· Familiar with third party payers and Managed Care Pharmacy claim processing. Decipher, understand adjudication claim rejections and resolve pertaining issues. (Preferred)
· Assists the pharmacist in reviewing, processing, preparing, filling, labeling, and dispensing of medications, supplies and the provision of pharmaceutical care, answering questions and requests, responding to and referring inquiries to the pharmacist.
· Receive/respond to provider and patient calls regarding the prior authorization and plan’s formulary process to ensure smooth patient care.
· Ability to generate and schedule medication deliveries accurately to meet lead-time and delivery deadlines.
· Responsible for the overall coordination and processing of patient medication orders, to include order intake within regulatory boundaries, customer service coordination, and pharmacy technician duties as defined by policy and regulation and while under the supervision of a pharmacist.
· May enter and process new prescriptions into the pharmacy computer system as permitted by pharmacy regulation and only at the direction of the supervising pharmacist after their review of the prescription in accordance with the Company policy and procedure.
· Process prescription refills to include refill confirmation when appropriate, review pending refills with the supervising pharmacist, generate refill documentation and process third party claims adjudication within the assigned work que in a timely & accurate manner.
· Answer telephone and fulfill patient refill(s) request and related pharmacy business.
· Follow HIPAA and PSEUDOEPHEDRINE law guidelines in compliance with local or federal laws.
· Fulltime.
· Prime Rx- Micro Merchant Experience is a plus.
· Maintain compliance with all company policies & procedures.
· Arranges work activities so that the pharmaceutical needs of patients are met.
· Bilingual preferred (Spanish speaking is preferred.

· Communicate as necessary with patients to determine general health status, medication compliance, drug and supply inventory, and overall coordination of care and service (custom assessment in software system) as applicable.
· Participate in company (QI) Quality Improvement activities as required.
· Generating revenues by calculating, recording, and issuing charges. Monitor cutbacks on adjudication screen and corrects if necessary.
Experience:
· High School Diploma/GED (required).
· Bachelor’s Degree/Equivalent (preferred).
· At least 1-3 years of experience as a pharmacy technician filling medication.

· Pharmacy Technician License or Certification preferred as granted by a nationally recognized certification agency.
· Continuing Education credits to keep their current licensure up to date as applicable to company standards.
· PrimeRX experience preferred.
