Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA)

Salary: $34 - $38 per-visit

Schedule: Full time | M-F| Flexible hours

Location: Hilliard, Ohio (surrounding area)

Requirements of the COTA role:

• Licensed Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant

• CPR/BLS Certified

• Must be willing to travel

• Valid Drivers License and Auto insurance Coverage

• Reliable transportation 

• Home health experience preferred 

About the Occupational Therapist Assistant role: 

• Performs treatment visits, and communicates with the supervising therapist regarding patient progress.

• Travel to a facility, or residential location to complete the patient evaluation.

• Provides occupational therapy services to clients by assisting in assessment, treatment, program, planning and implementation, related documentation, and communication.

• following the plan of care set by the therapist

• Complete subsequent follow-up visits.

• Identifies indications for evaluations of clients at appropriate intervals under the direction of the Occupational Therapist.

• Conducts individual treatment, outlined in the treatment plan that includes, but is not limited to, areas of activities of daily living, functional mobility, range of motion, strength, coordination, cognitive/perceptual remediation, and functional maintenance.

• Maintain a weekly caseload of 28-32 visits (full-time)

• Utilize a universal electronic documentation system.

• Maintains positive relationships and rapport with coworkers, supervisors, clients, family members, community personnel, and administration.
