The Repair Center Technician is responsible for repairing electronics printed circuit board (PCB) products. This person will perform physical, dimensional, and industrial tests, working with measuring and diagnostic equipment in accordance with written procedures and with quality system requirements. Perform calibrations as required, according to specifications. Complete applicable documentation related to assignments in a timely manner. Troubleshoot problems and provide appropriate notification to resolve issues.

Responsibilities:

  • Test and calibrate electronics products to specification.
  • Repair all items assigned in an efficient and timely manner.
  • Use test equipment to verify all repairs are complete and correct
  • Report any repeat issues to the Repair Center Manager for investigation
  • Make sure repairs are maintained to a high standard of repair in line with engineering specifications
  • Ensure the work performed meets or exceeds minimum quality standards.
  • Present a professional appearance and behavior at all times.
  • Ensure that the equipment assigned to workstations is kept clean and in good working order.
  • Keep work areas clean and well maintained.
  • Maintain clear, detailed information in the Service Database for future use and record keeping.
  • Maintain a clean and accessible workspace for the efficient performance of assigned duties.
  • Other duties as needed and assigned by department Manager.

Required Skills:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Associates Degree in electronics discipline is highly desirable
  • 2 years’ relevant experience with repair and calibration of test and measurement equipment.
  • 1 year experience in electronics manufacturing or repair preferable.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Demonstrate interpersonal and communications skills.
  • Must have the ability to pass a basic soldering test.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
