Job Description
Director of Quality Processing will be responsible for the quality management system relating to processing operations. This quality management system must help ensure customer requirements are met; waste is reduced and comply and interface with the companies global quality system and ISO registration. The Director will also manage the Quality Inspectors responsible for the inspection of products processed.
Responsibilities
- Manage the Processing Quality Management System
- Work with Corporate Quality to ensure the Processing Quality Management System utilizes, complies with, and compliments the Corporate QMS.
- Conduct customer audits on site.
- Manage the ERCAS (corrective action process)
- Review incoming jobs with engineering and operations.
- Travel to all sites with Processing Operations to review and audit quality processes.
Requirements and skills
- Proven experience as quality manager
- Conscientious and responsible
- A keen eye for detail and a result driven approach
- Outstanding communication skills
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
- Proficiency in MS Office
- In depth understanding of quality control procedures and relevant legal standards (FDA and pharmaceutical)
- Excellent math abilities and working knowledge of data analysis/statistical methods.
- BSc/ Ba in business administration or relevant field
- Certification of quality control is a strong advantage (ISO 9000 etc.)
