Low Voltage Technician

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Low Voltage Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in low voltage systems, including cabling, alarm systems, and surveillance technologies. This role involves installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting various low voltage systems while ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.

Duties

• Install and maintain low voltage systems including cabling, surveillance cameras, and alarm systems.
• Conduct thorough inspections and testing of installed systems to ensure functionality and compliance.
• Utilize power tools and equipment safely to perform installation tasks.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
• Provide technical support for troubleshooting issues related to low voltage systems.
• Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and service calls.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in low voltage technology.

Requirements

• Proven experience in low voltage installation or a related field.
• Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to work with various power tools.
• Familiarity with computer hardware as it relates to low voltage systems.
• Experience in alarm system sales is a plus.
• Certification in low voltage installation preferred but not mandatory.
• Ability to telecommunicate effectively with clients and team members.
• Locksmithing skills are advantageous but not required.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Pay: $25.10 - $26.76 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
