Duties

- Read and interpret blueprints to determine project specifications and requirements.
- Utilize hand tools and equipment safely and effectively to complete roofing tasks.
- Conduct thorough inspections of roofs to identify issues or areas needing repair.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Assist in heavy lifting and moving materials as needed during the roofing process.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Roofer or in a similar construction role.
- Strong knowledge of roofing systems, materials, and installation techniques.
- Ability to read blueprints and understand construction plans.
- Proficiency in using hand tools related to roofing tasks.
- Experience with concrete forming is a plus.
- Familiarity with metal stud framing is advantageous.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to perform construction estimating when necessary.
- Physical stamina for heavy lifting and working at heights.
- A strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- A maintenance person background is beneficial for additional repair tasks.
