Activities
Responsibilities :
- Ensure safe, compliant, and cost-effective project commissioning and operations.
- Maintain a safe working environment and report HSE incidents.
- Manage site documentation and project historical data.
- Coordinate maintenance and repairs with third-party providers.
- Perform routine annual maintenance, including QA / QC inspections and predictive maintenance.
- Assist with project planning, troubleshooting, and equipment evaluation.
- Analyze site performance and implement improvement plans.
- Collaborate on equipment failure analysis and prevention methods.
- Manage budgets and maintain profit margins.
- Ensure compliance with NERC, ISO, OSHA, and environmental standards.
- Oversee site inventory and maintain proper stock levels.
- Interface with Operations Support and Control Room Manager on plant operations.
- Train and mentor junior staff, focusing on retention and development.
- Create and maintain emergency response schedules.
- Lead daily and weekly contractor / owner meetings.
- Validate contractor schedules, payments, and change requests.
- Ensure environmental compliance and review construction activities.
- Maintain project schedules and communicate changes.
- Build relationships with the community and stakeholders.
- Liaise with property owners and administer solar project leases and easements.
- Perform additional responsibilities as needed.
Candidate Profile
Qualifications :
Six years of related construction or project management or energy industry experience including three years supervisory management responsibilities.
Knowledge in new renewable / alternative energy power projects preferred.
Ability to operate a motor vehicle and possession of a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
