Job Description
Total Equipment Company, a DXPE Company, is searching for a dynamic professional to grow the sales and service of rotating mechanical equipment and supporting services within an assigned geographic territory / account list. Equipment includes industrial pumps, air compressors, blowers, mixers and various rotating equipment. Total Equipment Company supports all local industries including power, chemical, oil and gas, municipal, steel and general industry. Required to manage and grow an existing account base while prospecting and closing new accounts / opportunities. The target account base will be within the Greater Pittsburgh Area and Western Pennsylvania. We employ a full staff of personnel in our office in Coraopolis, PA to assist the outside sales professionals with quote generation, along with parts and service execution.
Qualifications
Technical / Industrial sales experience is preferred. A technical degree / background, excellent communication skills, self motivation, and organization is a must.
The position does offer an initial base salary as the candidate builds up their customer base and is commensurate with experience. When the appropriate time for both parties is reached, the pay switches to a base commission format allowing substantially higher uncapped earning potential.
