The Hood and Duct Cleaning Technician will be responsible for the power washing of kitchen exhaust systems including hoods, duct work, filters and exhaust fans.
Responsibilities
- Scraping and power washing of kitchen exhaust systems including hoods, duct work, filters and exhaust fans
- Set up and take down of all job sites and equipment including wiping down of stainless-steel hoods, setting up wet/dry vacuums, high pressure hoses pre-sprayers, ladders, hanging plastic sheeting, etc.
- Detail cleaning of job site before departure including cleaning floors, counters, back dock, roof, and/or any other work areas on site.
- Clean all equipment and tools used on job site and put back in proper place every night.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with customers if present at job site.
- Follow and comply with all safety rules at all times.
- Achieve performance standards indicated for each job.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Assist in maintaining a clean work area
- Ability to effectively communicate with co-workers and managers
- May be required to use constant hand motions, kneel, walk, reach, bend, stretch, carry or lift up to 55 pounds
- Valid Driver's License
- Must speak English/Spanish Pass drug screening and criminal background check
- Be dependable - must be on time!
- Have EXCELLENT attention to detail and work efficiently
- Have a desire to learn quickly and be able to work in a fast-paced environment
