Total Fire Protection- established in 2018, has an immediate opening for a fire sprinkler designer. WE ARE LOCALLY/PRIVATLY OWNED AND OPERATED! Tired of the Corporate rat race, lets chat!

We design and install fire sprinklers for all types of applications including wet, dry, preaction, deluge, fire alarm, etc. We perform installs in all types of settings including some residential, commercial construction, tenant fit outs, warehouses, steel mills etc. We perform projects of all sizes and scopes from small to large! We are looking for someone with 5 years of experience as a sprinkler designer. Nicet Certifications and HYDRAcad experience a plus.

Qualifications

The responsibilities of the chosen candidate include:

• Process and clean up CADD files from A/E firms.
• Design sprinkler systems including coordination (3D/BIM) using the HYDRACAD program.
• Hydraulically calculate sprinkler systems for submission.
• Prepare material submittals, drawing submission packages, etc. for submission to the GC/CM and/or AHJ.
• Prepare fab lists and field drawings for installation
• Perform Site visits and attend project meetings as needed.
• Assist in Project management.
• Prepare close out documents (as built drawings)

Pay: $25.40 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
