Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Soccer Coach to lead and develop our youth soccer program. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of soccer techniques, strategies, and the ability to inspire young athletes. This role involves coaching players of varying skill levels, fostering teamwork, and promoting sportsmanship in a fun and engaging environment.
Duties
- Plan and conduct soccer training sessions that focus on skill development, teamwork, and game strategies.
- Evaluate players’ skills and provide constructive feedback to enhance their performance.
- Organize and lead practices, ensuring that all participants are engaged and learning effectively.
- Promote a positive team culture that emphasizes respect, discipline, and sportsmanship among players.
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to communicate player progress and address any concerns.
Experience
- Previous experience in sports coaching, particularly in soccer, is highly desirable.
- Experience working with students or children in a coaching or educational capacity is preferred.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to educate young athletes on soccer fundamentals.
- USSF Grassroots license
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 5 – 12 per week
Schedule:
- After school
- Weekends as needed
- Year round work
