SALARY RANGE: $65K - $85K plus incentives

Under the direction of the Grain Division Manager, the TGM Operation Manager oversees all construction and maintenance projects across the entire TGM territory. Responsible for the day-to-day supervision and direction of the millwright group. Along with all TGM Region Manager’s, responsible for the design, ordering, implementation and construction oversight of various projects.

Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law. In addition to base pay, certain roles may be eligible for bonuses, incentives, and commissions.

Essential Job Functions
- Schedule daily/weekly work activities of all millwrights.
- Works with the safety manager & location managers to ensure that all safety related equipment is installed, works correctly, and is being used correctly in accordance with our safety guidelines.
- Works with location managers to ensure that all material handling equipment is being serviced and maintained on a regular basis.
- Coordinates with the Region Managers, the purchasing of material handling equipment, millwright equipment and rolling stock.
- Develop plans for efficient use of materials, machines, and employees.
- Analyze operating procedures and material handling flow at individual elevators and recommend changes to enhance and improve operational efficiencies.
- Implement maintenance schedule to ensure compliance with all OSHA and EPA regulations.
- Assist yearly in the development of a fixed assets budget.
- Work closely with Region Managers to promote teamwork between all TGM locations as well as assist and share assets between locations.
- Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
- Planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
- Participate in meetings as required.
- Demonstrate knowledge of planning, organization, problem solving, project management and computer proficiency.
- Ability to work extended hours as business conditions warrant.
- Ability to travel independently and overnight.
- Attends all required meetings and training programs.
- Provide exceptional customer service.
- Performs other incidental and related duties as required and assigned.
- Normally requires a college degree and/or at least 5 years’ construction experience.
- Must have and maintain a valid driver’s CDL license and satisfactory driving record.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain various operator’s certifications.
