Qualifications : 5 years construction industry experience with mechanical and plumbing Proficient in MS-based software including Word, Excel, Outlook Effective oral and written communication skills Valid driver's license BS degree in commercial construction preferred Project manager overview The project manager role will consist of working project team and VP Operations to successfully manage and deliver construction projects assigned to him. Project manager is the owner of the project and responsible for it in its entirety from inception to completion with the aid of qualified superintendents in the mechanical and plumbing trades and assist with client development and estimating as needed. Client development mainly consists of completing projects to their satisfaction. Site investigation for bidding process Processing of submittals and tracking of such. Requesting and securing permits and inspections. Coordination drawing execution when required. Evaluate and implement team to execute the work on schedule. Build project schedule and review goals, milestones, and budgets with key people. Processing of bulk orders and equipment releases. Scheduling and tracking of manpower to suite the needs of the project. Job document control. Tracking job progress. Quality control. Training of field personnel. Attend jobsite meetings. Drawings / specifications / job documents review. Review labor budgets. Initiate, manage, and track all RFI's and change orders. Update all pay application percentages for monthly billings . Job cost report review. Execute job close-out functions.
