Total Highspeed is a locally owned and operated company providing internet service for over 15 years. Our knowledge of the current wireless and fiber technology allows us to provide superior quality, high-speed internet where DSL and cable are not accessible. Currently we provide service to over 150 rural communities in Missouri and Arkansas, making us the largest fixed wireless internet provider in the state of Missouri. We are growing! Our Fiber Optic Network is expanding and allowing rural homes the same service big cities can provide. It is an exciting time for us, and we would like you to be a part of THIS.
Total Highspeed is looking for a full-time Financial Controller who can provide control over expenses by receiving, processing and verifying invoices and payments. Maintaining records, reports, purchase order systems and communication with the CEO. This position does have a career path to Chief Financial Officer. We are calling for an organized, detail-oriented, experienced person with excellent communication skills and computer software knowledge in Word, and Excel is a must.
Responsibilities of this position will include, but not be limited to:
- Reconciling processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances.
- Charging expenses to accounts and cost centers by analyzing invoice/expense reports, recording entries.
- Paying vendors by monitoring discount opportunities, verifying federal id numbers, scheduling and preparing checks, resolving purchase order, contract, invoice or payment discrepancies and documentation; insuring credit is received for outstanding memos, issuing stop-payments or purchase order amendments.
- Maintaining accounting ledgers by verifying and posting account transactions.
- Verifying vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions.
- Conduct a professional rapport with clients, vendors, visitors and employees
- Maintain confidentiality in all aspects of the job
- Manage special projects as assigned by the President
Qualifications:
- Maintain a clean, courteous and professional demeanor
- Have experience tracking budget expenses
- Have a degree in Business, Accounting, Economics or Finance
- 2 Years Accounting experience is required
- Have attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Be able to work independently and efficiently to meet deadlines
- Have a high level of PC proficiency and data entry skills
- Have excellent time management, organizational and analytical skills
- Have competent written and verbal communication
