Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited High School or equivalent required
- Valid Driver's License (5 or less points)
- Current Auto Insurance
- Must have a clean background with no disqualifying offenses.
Job Description:
We are seeking experienced individuals with behavioral support experience to provide compassionate care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities. As a DSP - Caregiver with behavioral experience, you will utilize your expertise to address challenging behaviors, implement behavior support plans, and promote a positive and inclusive environment.
- Assisting individuals with disabilities in residential settings with daily living skills (IE personal hygiene, medication administration, and home cleanliness) and their individual specific needs & goals.
- Ensuring the health & safety of the individuals
- Daily documentation & communication
- Provide transportation to community activities, medical appointments and personal needs.
- Dispense & administer medications to the individuals
- Maintains essential certifications
- Provide direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities, including those with behavioral challenges.
- Implement behavior support plans and strategies to address challenging behaviors effectively.
- Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation support as needed.
- Document behavior incidents and individual progress, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
