What are the responsibilities and job description for the Laboratory Technician - Molecular Diagnostics position at Total Lab Solutions?
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laboratory Technician to join our Molecular testing team. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting laboratory tests and reporting within the Molecular department. Collaboration and meeting deadlines are essential to provide high-quality care to our clients and patients.
Key Responsibilities:
-Conduct high-complexity laboratory testing according to established procedures
-Identify and resolve process issues affecting laboratory testing
-Assist in maintaining inventory levels of reagents and supplies
-Adapt workflow to accommodate urgent testing needs
-Assist with operational processes as needed
-Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
Qualifications:
-Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific field or equivalent experience
-Familiarity with QuantStudio instrument and software preferred
-Experience with real time qPCR preferred
-Ability to adapt to changes and thrive in a dynamic work environment
--This Job is for Tuesday thru Saturday. Saturdays are required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
