Scope of Work for Lighting Technician Location: 1001 Fannin, through TMM Position Type: Full-Time Hours: Monday through Friday (morning and mid-shifts); occasional weekends as needed Pay Range: $15.50 to $17.50 per hour, based on experience Benefits Package: Includes insurance, vacation and sick time, and 401(k) Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Lighting Maintenance: Replace light bulbs and ballasts in tenant spaces and common areas. Perform inspections of lighting systems to identify and address issues proactively. Maintain an inventory of bulbs, ballasts, and related supplies. Ensure compliance with safety standards when handling electrical components. General Maintenance Duties (as assigned): Assist in minor repairs or maintenance tasks as directed by the facility management team. Respond to service requests promptly and professionally. Report issues requiring specialized maintenance to supervisors. Record Keeping: Document completed maintenance tasks for tracking purposes. Keep records of inventory usage and requisitions for supplies. Collaboration and Communication: Coordinate with property management and tenants to schedule work and minimize disruptions. Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations. Safety and Compliance: Follow all safety guidelines and protocols during maintenance activities. Participate in any required safety training sessions. Requirements: Basic knowledge of electrical systems, particularly lighting components. Ability to use basic tools and equipment related to lighting maintenance. Good physical condition to perform tasks such as climbing ladders, lifting equipment, and standing for extended periods. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work. Availability to work occasional weekends as required. Requirements:
Basic electrical knowledge
