Service Technician

POSITION SUMMARY
Service Tech can perform all tasks and responsibilities including, but not limited to, addressing higher level technical questions with resolution, disassembly & assembly of all certified products, and electromechanically testing pumps and blowers. Possess the ability to read, interpret, and apply technical documents. Additional responsibilities of Service Techs (frame disassembly, disassembly, blast, presentation, and test) on specific product models. Complete assigned duties as directed in a timely and accurate manner while maintaining an acceptable level of cleanliness and organization in the work area. Have strong oral and written communication skills in English. Must be able to supply your own tools with the possibility of needing to purchase specialty tools to perform essential functions of the job.

EXPERIENCE: Skills & Abilities

• At least 12 months of relative experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Previous electrical experience with single and three phase power distribution systems and controls and the ability to troubleshoot electromechanical systems
• Interpret technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form.
• Understanding and ability to use micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, torque wrenches, depth gages, bore gages, vacuum gages, ampere meters, and infrared temperature gages.
• Previous industrial powered forklift experience.

Computer Skills: Working knowledge of I-pads, computers and Microsoft Office software preferred.

Essential Functions Statement(s)

• Provide assistance to other service Technicians as requested or directed to achieve production goals.
• Present parts for assembly in a standardized format using boards, tables, and/or carts according to established procedures.
• Assemble all certified products.
• Perform processes and procedures while maintaining measurable and productive output in line with the specified production schedule
• Maintain production board and product flow movements.
• Ability to safely and productively operate hand and power tools.
• Assist with warehouse inventory and shipping functions as needed or directed.
• Disassembly of all products and prepare documentation for estimation.
• Comply to all TMS policies and procedures.
• Perform preventive maintenance on shop equipment as part of Total Preventative Maintenance (TPM) program.
• Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals and objectives.
• Emphasis on maintaining clean and organized work areas and workstations.
• Work independently or as a team, as necessary, to fulfill department and TMS goals and objectives per management instructions.
• Provide leadership through example and sharing of knowledge and skills as per certification training.
• Ability to safely and productively operate hand and power tools.

Job Type: Full-time
