OverviewÂ
Total Mechanical Service is hiring an HVAC, Refrigeration & Cooking Equipment Technician responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing commercial kitchen & refrigeration equipment at our customer locations. Our technicians also provide preventative maintenance (PM) inspections and respond to emergency service calls on equipment including ovens, fryers, steamers, warmers, dish cleaning equipment, walk-ins, and ice machines.  Â

Essential ResponsibilitiesÂ
- Troubleshoot, Diagnose, and Repair Cooking, Refrigeration, & HVAC EquipmentÂ
- Treat customers and employees with respect, courtesy, and professionalismÂ
- Complete service calls promptlyÂ
- Communicate effectively with customers, managers, dispatchers, and salesÂ
- Participate in on-call rotation scheduleÂ
- Identify new customers and additional opportunities within existing accountsÂ
- Maintain Service VehicleÂ
- Order Parts and Complete Required PaperworkÂ
- Attend Training SessionsÂ
- Other Duties as AssignedÂ

QualificationsÂ
- Previous experience cooking, refrigeration, or HVAC equipment service (or related military) experienceÂ
- Strong electrical, electronic, and mechanical skillsÂ
- Effective customer communication skillsÂ
- 100% dedication to working hard, being on time, and staying organizedÂ
- Maintain a professional personal appearanceÂ
- Pass Drug Screen and Background Check Â
- Maintain a Valid Driver’s License with a good driving recordÂ
- Must be 18 years or olderÂ

Preferred QualificationsÂ
- Experience with Fryers, Ovens, Steamers, Ranges, Broilers, Ware Wash, Walk-ins, coolers, freezers, ice machines, prep tables, etc.Â
- CFESA certification and related TrainingÂ
- EPA Universal Certification, Â
- Computer literateÂ
