General Purpose and Scope (Summary):
Originate first and second mortgage loans
Responsibilities / Functions:
- Originate first and second retail mortgage loans for various investors according to their prescribed guidelines.
- Using DU/LP/NAUS and any other automated underwriting engines for pre-approvals.
- Initiate and ensure follow-up contact with borrowers/applicants.
- Maintain current knowledge of Lender and Investor requirements
- Utilize TMS Lead/Contact management Systems.
- Document and maintain system notes/record keeping
- Meet established minimum daily expectations for this position:
- Initiate and follow through with daily assigned telephone and internet/email contact with leads, as described in TMS’ monthly expectations
- Review and understand daily Investor rate sheets/pricing/adjustments, etc.
- Lock loans and email proper channels to advise of lock(s).

Technical / Computer Skills:
Thorough k knowledge of Desktop Underwriter, Loan Prospector and other similar systems as well as Microsoft Office.
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Active MLO license
National and State Certifications, Licenses, etc.
Hours for position: (on-call, overtime consideration, etc.)
