Summary
As a Wellness Manager at Total Orthopedics & Sports Medicine, you will play a vital role in promoting, developing, implementing, and overseeing wellness programs that promote patient health, preventive care, and overall well-being. This role involves managing wellness services, coordinating with healthcare providers, educating patients, and ensuring the seamless integration of wellness initiatives within the clinic’s operations.
Program Development & Implementation
- Design and implement wellness programs focusing on injury prevention, rehabilitation, nutrition, and overall patient health.
- Develop and promote wellness education initiatives, including workshops, seminars, and informational materials.
- Stay up to date with the latest wellness trends and best practices to enhance program offerings.
Patient Engagement & Support
- Educate patients on wellness strategies, lifestyle modifications, and preventive care.
- Provide personalized wellness plans and track patient progress.
- Act as a resource for patients, answering questions and offering guidance on wellness-related topics.
Coordination & Collaboration
- Work closely with physicians, physical therapists, nutritionists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
- Coordinate wellness initiatives with community organizations, insurance providers, and corporate partners.
- Oversee wellness-related partnerships and vendor relationships.
Operational & Administrative Duties
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of wellness programs through data analysis and patient feedback.
- Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements related to wellness services.
- Manage budgets and resources allocated for wellness initiatives.
- Develop marketing and outreach strategies to promote wellness programs within the clinic and community.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Health & Wellness, Public Health, Nutrition, Exercise Science, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Certification in wellness coaching, health education, or a related area is a plus.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in wellness program management, healthcare, or a related field.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with patients and healthcare providers.
- Ability to develop and implement wellness programs effectively.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations, insurance policies, and wellness industry trends.
- Experience working in an orthopedic, rehabilitation, or physical therapy setting.
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Background in fitness, nutrition, or holistic wellness practices.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
