Duties
- Perform X-ray examinations on patients as per physician orders, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Operate diagnostic radiology equipment, including but not limited to X-ray machines and CT scanners.
- Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process and addressing any concerns.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to aseptic techniques and infection control standards.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses through high-quality imaging.
- Document patient information and imaging results accurately in the medical records system.
- Stay updated on advancements in medical imaging technology and participate in ongoing professional development.
Skills
- Proficient in diagnostic radiology techniques with a strong understanding of anatomy knowledge.
- Experience with X-Ray preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to perform basic troubleshooting of imaging equipment.
