Position Overview:
We are seeking a Lead Front Office to oversee the front office and general practice operations. This role requires strong communication, excellent customer service, responsiveness, and the ability to handle difficult situations while ensuring smooth daily operations and patient satisfaction. The ideal candidate will work closely with the Medical Director, Practice Owner, and Biller to optimize workflow and efficiency.
Spanish-speaking is required to effectively communicate with our diverse patient population.
Key Responsibilities:
Front Office Coordination:
- Greet and check in patients with a warm and professional demeanor.
- Handle scheduling, appointment confirmations, and patient inquiries promptly.
- Implement and maintain a welcoming and efficient front office experience.
Insurance & Referral Management:
- Verify insurance eligibility and benefits prior to appointments.
- Handle referrals and authorization requests efficiently.
- Work closely with the billing team to minimize claim denials and improve reimbursement rates.
Office Operations Oversight:
- Manage front desk workflow and daily administrative tasks.
- Ensure compliance with office policies and procedures.
- Maintain a well-organized and efficient front office environment.
Collaboration & Leadership:
- Work closely with the Medical Director, Practice Owner, and Billing Department to enhance practice efficiency.
- Provide leadership and guidance to front office staff as needed.
- Identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to optimize operations.
Qualifications:
✅ Spanish fluency required – must be able to effectively communicate with Spanish-speaking patients and families.
✅ Strong responsiveness and ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
✅ Previous experience in a medical office setting (pediatrics preferred).
✅ Strong knowledge of insurance verification and referrals.
✅ Excellent communication and customer service skills – ability to handle difficult conversations with professionalism and empathy.
✅ Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems – ability to navigate and troubleshoot efficiently.
✅ Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
✅ Ability to work collaboratively with leadership and the billing team.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
