Overview: The Center of Excellence (COE) and Total Performance Soccer are seeking a passionate and dedicated Head of School to join our academic team at our New England location. This position provides leadership and oversight for our academic programs while offering direct instruction and supplemental support for students enrolled in our partnering online platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in school administration and teaching—particularly across middle and high school grades—and a deep commitment to fostering academic excellence and supporting student-athletes in their educational goals. This hybrid role combines school leadership with teaching responsibilities, overseeing day-to-day school operations, and ensuring effective communication with parents.

Primary Responsibilities:
School Leadership and Administration:
- Lead and manage the overall operations of the Center of Excellence.
- Develop and implement educational programs and policies that align with COE’s mission and goals.
- Oversee curriculum development, ensuring a seamless integration of online and in-person learning.
- Manage and support teaching staff, including professional development and performance evaluations.
- Monitor and report on academic progress and performance to stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with educational regulations and standards.
Teaching and Tutoring:
- Teach designated subjects, providing high-quality, engaging instruction both online and in-person.
- Develop and deliver personalized tutoring sessions to support student learning.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
- Assess student progress and provide timely, constructive feedback to students and parents.
Parent and Community Engagement:
- Act as the primary point of contact for parents, addressing concerns and providing regular updates on student progress.
- Foster strong relationships with parents, students, and the broader community.
- Organize and lead parent-teacher meetings, workshops, and school events.
- Communicate effectively with all stakeholders through various channels.
Operational Oversight:
- Manage school facilities and resources, ensuring a safe and conducive learning environment.
- Oversee administrative tasks such as scheduling, record-keeping, and budgeting.
- Implement and maintain technology systems that support academic and operational functions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Educational Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership role within an educational setting.
- Proven experience managing and supervising student-athletes in an educational or athletic environment.
- Proven experience in teaching and curriculum development.
- Strong understanding of both online and in-person educational methodologies.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for soccer and a commitment to supporting student-athletes.
- Thrives in a high-energy, fast-paced, fun, and engaging environment, with a strong bias for action, high intensity, and high humility.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a private or charter school environment.
- Knowledge of current educational technology and online learning platforms.
- Familiarity with the unique needs and challenges of student-athletes.
- Coaching or camp director experience in a youth sports or educational setting is a plus.

Pay: $80,397.00 - $81,545.00 per year
