Job Summary:
Total Point is seeking a dedicated NCT that is also a MA to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care and support in various medical settings.
NCT/MA Responsibilities:
-Prepares patients for radiologic procedures and protects patients, self and other staff from radiation hazards.
-Takes X-rays following established procedures for patient care and safety, which involves setting up and operating radiographic equipment used in the medical diagnosis and/or treatment of patients.
-Processes film and checks X-ray for clarity of image, retakes when necessary. ------- --Distributes X-ray to appropriate medical staff.
-Implements infection control procedures in the work area.
-Performs general patient care by following established standards and procedures.
-Greets and prepares patients for the health care provider.
-Obtains and records vital signs including, but not limited to: blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respiration, height, weight, drug allergies, and current medications and presenting problem.
-Administers ordered medications and/or vaccines via oral, injection, topical, rectal, ophthalmic, and/or inhalant administration.
-May be required to draw and collect blood samples from patients and prepare specimens for laboratory analysis as well as perform routine tests such as EKG
Requirements:
- Proven experience in patient care and service.
- Knowledge of medical-surgical procedures and geriatrics.
- Familiarity with hospital medicine practices.
- Understanding of physiology and urgent care protocols.
- Ability to perform basic clinical tasks such as taking vital signs and X-rays.
- Certification or diploma in Medical Assisting is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.

Qualifications
- NCT certification required
- CMA certification
- 2 years of radiologic/imaging experience and CT experience (preferred)
- Lab Experience (preferred)
Job Types: Full-time, PRN
Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 – 40 per week
