Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive psychiatric care to patients of all ages, focusing on mental health assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Prescribe and manage medications for mental health disorders
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals
- Provide patient education on mental health conditions and treatment options
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
Experience
- Possess a valid Nurse Practitioner license
- Certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
- Experience in basic life support and medication administration
- Knowledge of acute pain management and physiology
- Familiarity with geriatrics, gastroenterology, ophthalmology, and nursing home care
- Ability to inhale medications and dialyze patients
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65.00 - $75.00 per hour
