We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Clinic Nurse Manager to lead our nursing and clinical team. This role is responsible for overseeing clinical operations, ensuring high-quality patient care, managing staff, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pain management, leadership skills, and a passion for improving patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Clinical Leadership & Patient Care:
- Oversee daily clinic operations and ensure the delivery of exceptional patient care.
- Serve as a resource for clinical staff, providing guidance on patient care, procedures, and protocols.
- Ensure compliance with clinical guidelines, standards, and regulations.
- Maintain infection control and safety protocols within the practice.
2. Staff Management & Development:
- Supervise, train, and evaluate nursing and clinical staff.
- Schedule and coordinate nursing assignments to ensure adequate patient coverage.
- Provide mentorship and performance evaluations to support staff development.
- Facilitate team meetings, continuing education, and professional development initiatives.
3. Operational & Administrative Duties:
- Collaborate with physicians and administrative staff to improve workflow and efficiency.
- Oversee inventory management of medical supplies, medications, and equipment.
- Ensure proper documentation of patient records in compliance with HIPAA and practice policies.
- Assist in policy development and implementation to enhance practice operations.
4. Patient & Family Advocacy:
- Educate patients and their families on pain management treatments, medications, and post-care instructions.
- Address patient concerns and work to enhance the overall patient experience.
- Implement patient-centered care initiatives to improve satisfaction and outcomes.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) required.
- Licensure: Current NYS RN license
- Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of nursing experience. Prior leadership or management experience is preferred.
- Certifications: BLS and ACLS certification required; pain management certification preferred.
