Responsibilities
- Supervise daily operations on the construction site, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets.
- Manage and coordinate subcontractors, laborers, and materials to ensure efficient workflow.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor compliance with OSHA regulations and safety standards.
- Utilize construction management software such as Bluebeam and HeavyBid for project tracking and documentation.
- Read and interpret blueprints, ensuring that all work is completed according to specifications.
- Assist in construction estimating by providing accurate assessments of project needs and costs.
- Implement best practices for site management, including scheduling, resource allocation, and quality control.
- Maintain effective communication with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, and engineers.
Experience
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within the construction industry is essential.
- Familiarity with construction estimating techniques and tools is highly desirable.
- Proficient in using Primavera for project scheduling and management tasks.
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading and interpretation is required.
- Experience with tools such as an Ohmmeter for electrical work is a plus.
- Ability to build strong teams through effective leadership and mentoring practices.
- A solid understanding of OSHA regulations and safety protocols within the construction environment is crucial.
