Total Safety is looking for an Industrial Hygiene Field Tech to add to their Safety conscious team! The Industrial Hygiene Field Tech responsibilities include but are not limited to field work such as: utilizing the need for respiratory protection in certain circumstances, operating and caring for equipment to conduct field tests such as ventilation, gas detection, temperature checking, and noise levels, and compiling data from field investigations into organized documents.

Specific Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide ventilation and gas testing activities for confined space entry
Able to calibrate meters and pumps to ensure accurate sampling.
Review paperwork and documentation for regulatory and Motiva HSE policies and procedures compliance
Participate in group review of procedures and plans
Attend and participate in contractor safety meetings (toolbox, weekly, monthly, etc.)
Communicate immediate safety concerns to Motiva Management
Conduct safety and health evaluations and tests to note if ventilation, personal protective equipment, lighting, and other conditions are adequate to protect workers.
