Total Safety is seeking a Turnaround Superintendent to oversee safety conscious projects. This role involves managing all aspects of Safety Attendant (holewatch/firewatch) projects, from inception to completion, including up to 300 person projects.
The successful candidate will work closely with clients to create effective manpower staffing histograms and ensure proper staffing levels. They will also oversee the hiring and training process, including site-specific training information incorporation into internal programs.
This position requires strong project management skills, with responsibility for field operations, project timekeeping and cost tracking. The individual must be able to coordinate with Foremen to manage personnel effectively and ensure smooth project execution.
In addition to project management responsibilities, this role includes providing operational oversight, establishing quality standards, ensuring compliance with company objectives, and providing corporate management with monthly forecasting of revenue and expenses.
The ideal candidate will have at least five years' experience in operations management within the petrochemical or refining industry, with prior experience in a management position. Travel is expected, with regular visits to plant sites throughout the US.
