What are the responsibilities and job description for the Toolroom Attendant I position at Total Safety?
Total Safety is looking for a Toolroom Attendant to add to their safety conscious team! As a Tool Room Attendant, you will be an important part of processing customer tool checkouts, stocking items, inventory integrity, asset management, ladder repair, shipping items and providing timely and accurate equipment fulfillment.
- Clear Background and Drug/Alcohol Screen Randomly
- Available to work a variety of rotating shifts, including days, evenings, nights, weekends and holidays.
- Efficiently sort, handle, load and unload palletized and non-palletized freight using appropriate motorized and manual equipment, including pallet jack, forklift and by hand as needed
- Lift freight and other objects of various shapes, sizes and weights (up to 50 lbs frequently).
- Safely walk and stand for extended periods of time.
- Ladder repair
- Verify and complete required documentation and reports
- Adhere to company and customer safety policies
- Frequent contact with service center personnel; fast-pace and deadline oriented.
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Prompt, daily attendance at assigned work location
Position responsibilities:
- Provide timely and accurate delivery of customer request
- Professional interaction with customer base
- Shipping and Receiving Duties
- Proper operation of material handling equipment to safety and production requirements
- Maintain the overall cleanliness of the warehouse
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Essential skills and experience:
- Forklift experience
- Prior dock/warehouse experience is a plus
- Highly motivated individual with attention to detail
