Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring a smooth and efficient operation within our dental clinic. This position involves assisting the dentist during procedures, managing patient records, and providing exceptional care to our patients, particularly in pediatric dentistry and endodontics.

Duties
- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring a sterile environment using aseptic techniques.
- Prepare and maintain dental instruments and equipment for various treatments.
- Manage medical records accurately, ensuring all patient information is up-to-date and confidential.
- Perform dental radiography (medical imaging) as directed by the dentist.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
- Schedule appointments and manage the front desk duties as needed, including acting as a dental receptionist.
- Support pediatric dentistry efforts by providing compassionate care to younger patients.
- Collaborate with the dental team to enhance patient experience and clinic efficiency.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in dental assisting is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Knowledge of anatomy related to dental health is essential.
- Familiarity with dental systems and procedures, including endodontics, is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing medical records.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients of all ages.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
