What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dental Assistant/Sterilization Tech position at Total Smiles Dentistry?
Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
- Take dental x-rays
- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care
- Perform basic dental laboratory procedures, such as pouring models and fabricating temporary crowns
Requirements:
- X-ray certification
- Spanish speaking
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- No nights or weekends!

Our office hours are Monday-Friday 9am-5pm,
