Job Summary
The Machine Adjuster plays a crucial role in the manufacturing process by ensuring that machinery operates efficiently and produces high-quality products. The ideal candidate will have experience in prepress operations, machining, and packaging processes, along with a strong understanding of safety protocols.
Duties
- Set up, adjust, and operate various types of machinery used in the production process.
- Monitor machine operations to ensure quality standards are met.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with production team to optimize workflow and efficiency.
- Fabricate components as needed to support production requirements.
- Safely operate forklift to transport materials within the facility.
- Maintain accurate records of machine settings, adjustments, and production output.
Requirements
- Proven experience in prepress operations or similar machining environments.
- Familiarity with press operations and packaging processes is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and schematics.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Forklift certification is a plus; willingness to obtain certification if not currently held.
- Commitment to following safety protocols and maintaining a clean work environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $18.50 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
