Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Machine Technician to join our dynamic team in a manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background and be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting various machinery and equipment. This role requires a commitment to quality, safety, and efficiency while ensuring that all machinery operates at optimal performance levels.

Duties

• Maintain and repair machinery and equipment within the manufacturing facility to ensure smooth operations.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform necessary repairs to minimize downtime.
• Utilize precision measuring instruments to assess machine performance and accuracy.
• Work with high voltage and low voltage systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
• Perform stick welding and hydraulic repairs as needed to maintain equipment functionality.
• Collaborate with the technical sales team to provide insights on machine capabilities and customer requirements.
• Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries related to machine operations and maintenance.

Experience

• Previous experience in a manufacturing facility is preferred, showcasing hands-on skills in machine maintenance and repair.
• Familiarity with high voltage, low voltage systems, hydraulics, and precision measuring instruments is essential.
• Experience in technical sales or customer service roles is a plus, enhancing communication with clients regarding machinery needs.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment while also demonstrating independence in troubleshooting tasks.

Pay: $18.50 per hour
