Responsibilities / Duties :
- Create and implement workplace health and safety plans and procedures to comply with OSHA guidelines
- Evaluate health and safety practices and procedures for risk assessment and following legal guidelines and OSHA guidelines
- Monitor and support the Plant City and Orlando facilities.
- Conduct accident prevention training and health and safety training
- Conduct PPE hazard analysis
- Conduct Job Safety Analysis
- Conduct workplace safety audits
- Inspect equipment for unsafe workplace conditions
- Monitor employee conformity to safety laws and policies
- Investigate accidents and incidents to find the root cause and take preventive measures for further incidents
- Prepare and present reports on accidents and root causes to upper management.
- Suggest solutions, improvements, and prevention steps for safety issues
- Advise and lead employees on various safety-related topics
- Review existing policies and procedures
- Work with HR to set up a new employee onboarding process for safety
- Conduct a risk assessment of facilities and their processes.
- Enforce preventative measures with the support of departmental managers.
- Recruit and train safety committee team members of hourly employees, supervisors, and managers.
- Oversee workplace repair, installations, and any other work that could harm employees' safety

Salary : $70,000 - $85,000
