Onsite Technical Support

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Technical Support professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional support to our clients, ensuring their technical issues are resolved efficiently and effectively. This role requires strong communication skills and a solid understanding of IT infrastructure, software troubleshooting, and computer management.

Duties

• Provide technical support for users experiencing issues with hardware, software, and network connectivity.
• Troubleshoot and resolve problems related to Mac OS, Linux, and other operating systems.
• Utilize tools such as ServiceNow and Jira to track incidents and manage service requests.
• Communicate clearly with clients to understand their technical challenges and provide timely solutions.
• Maintain documentation of support requests, resolutions, and system configurations.
• Assist in the management of IT infrastructure, ensuring systems are running smoothly and securely.
• Collaborate with other IT team members to enhance overall service delivery.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a Technical Support role or similar position.
• Strong knowledge of computer networking principles and practices.
• Familiarity with software troubleshooting techniques across various platforms.
• Experience using ServiceNow or Jira for incident tracking is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively assist users.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong analytical skills.
• Relevant certifications in IT support or networking are a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $16.75 per hour

Compensation Package:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Overtime
