Compensation Range: $15.81 - $23.75

What You’ll Do:

• Responsible for implementing company policies in the shop environment.
• Direct impact on a shop budget through control of overtime, proper paperwork flow and completion, adequate warranty information, follow up on shop procedures, and service tracking.
• Entering descriptions of repairs, coding work and recording technician’s time.
• Specific tasks include opening and closing of repair orders, taking driver write ups, interacting with drivers, maintaining input into shop log, reviewing and correcting shop repair orders, parts distribution, tracking outside repairs and communication with operations.
• In the absence of a lead tech on any shift the position acts in the role of lead tech and makes all decisions related to the performance of the lead tech position.
• Includes such responsibilities as directly supervising the technicians for productivity, quality of repair, and proper diagnosis.
• Maintain proper attendance and punctuality to ensure that the department is operated in an efficient and cost-effective manner.
• Ability to work on a TTMS site or TTMS customer location site while performing the essential functions of this position.
• May include other duties as assigned by Management.

What We’re Looking For:

Education

• Any combination of education or experience equivalent to a high school diploma.

Experience

• Requires a basic understanding of tractor and trailer maintenance.
• Such knowledge can be acquired through a formal diesel repair curriculum, 6 months hands on mechanic experience, or 1 year in a similar Service Coordinator position.

Skills/Certifications

• Requires a minimum of average computer skills for basic data entry.
• Requires an individual who is skilled in communication, well organized, able to perform multiple simultaneous tasks and has a high patience level for an extremely fast paced environment.
• Frequent exposure to vibration, loud noises, heights, confined spaces, awkward lifting loads and lifting up to 70 lbs at heights between -9ft.
• Ability to work in frequent temperature and humidity extremes
• Ability to occasionally carry, lift overhead, low lift 70/50 lbs, frequently at 49/20 lbs and constantly from 19/1 lbs.
