What You’ll Do (Responsibilities)
As a tutor, you will:
- Deliver personalized, engaging instruction tailored to each student’s goals and learning style
- Communicate progress and challenges clearly with parents, teachers, and the Total Tutoring team
- Complete brief, timely session notes using our online platform
- Adjust strategies as needed to meet evolving academic needs
- Create a welcoming, encouraging learning environment that supports student confidence and success
- Travel to students’ homes or meet at local libraries for in-person sessions (depending on the family’s preferences)
What We’re Looking For
- Experienced Educators: You have at least a bachelor’s degree and 2 years of experience tutoring or teaching
- Dependable & Professional: You show up prepared and on time, and you take pride in helping students grow
- Flexible & Available: You’re available 2–15 hours per week, including afternoons, evenings, or weekends
- Transportation: You’re able to travel to students for in-person sessions
