Compensation & Benefits:
- Starting Pay: $16-18/hr, based on experience
- Full-Time Benefits: Personal & vacation time, sick time, health insurance, uniform allowance, veterinary care benefits, retirement plan with company match, quarterly bonuses, and more!
Schedule: Our team works on a rotating schedule to maintain coverage and balance. Weekly shifts alternate between:
Week A: Tuesday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Week B: 3 weekdays Saturday, 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM
What We’re Looking For:
- 1 years of experience as a veterinary assistant in a clinical setting with demonstrated ability to:
- Safely restrain animals, perform blood draws, catheter placement, and accurately fill prescriptions
- Assist in surgery and provide support during medical procedures
- Understand and perform in-house laboratory tasks with confidence
- Knowledgeable in preventative medicine, medical terminology, medication calculations, and client education
- Strong communication skills to work effectively with clients and colleagues, ensuring top-notch care and service
- Self-starter with exceptional organizational skills, able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail
- Motivated to learn and grow: You will have opportunities to develop new skills and advance in your career
