Job Description :

We are seeking a Shipping Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our shipping department. This role is critical in ensuring the efficient, timely, and accurate handling of all outgoing shipments, maintaining inventory accuracy, and upholding the highest standards of safety and quality. As the Shipping Supervisor, you will coordinate with various departments, manage a team of employees, and implement best practices to optimize logistics and warehouse functions.

Key Responsibilities :

• Supervise employees involved in loading and unloading materials, checking invoices, pulling stock, operating material handling equipment, and other warehouse duties.
• Assist shipping personnel with material / product shipment requirements.
• Investigate shipping discrepancies.
• Test and license forklift drivers.
• Approve and track work hours and productivity.
• Assist with internal / external corrective actions as needed.
• Strive to meet established goals and objectives, continuously seeking improvements and cost reduction ideas.
• Focus on safety, adherence to safety policies, and continuous attention to housekeeping for the work area and facility.
• Maintain shipping records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established procedures.
• Determine work procedures, prepare work schedules, and expedite workflow.
• Provide written and oral instructions to improve the efficiency of shipping employees.
• Ensure quality assurance procedures for outbound shipments are being followed.
• Supervise compliance with company policies and standards.
• Perform miscellaneous duties and projects assigned.
