What are the responsibilities and job description for the Operations Business Associate position at Total Warranty Services?
The Operations Business Associate is responsible for understanding product rating structures, managing and modifying rate sheets with existing dealerships. Moreover, they will be responsible for analyzing rate structures upon request and providing change recommendations when necessary.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Understand TWS product offering and the pricing structure for each product
- Assist with all tasks related to rate changes
- Work with internal teams and our insurer to implement new programs
- Compare rates across coverages to recognize trends or differences
- Test and audit rates after implementing new programs or changes
- Troubleshoot rating and import issues
- Import and export rate books from TWS’ administrative system
- Understand the different modules that impact rating such as vehicle classification, eligibility tiers, packs and markups etc.
- Pull information from the administrative system to complete tasks or investigate an issues
- Other duties as assigned
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or related field
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook), advanced excel skills are required (v-lookups, x-lookups, pivot tables, IF statements etc.)
- Ability to multi-task and effectively balance priorities to meet tight deadlines
- Must be highly organized with a strong attention to detail
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
