Total Wine & More is looking for a Sr. Specialist, Lease Accounting & Licensesto join our Lease Accounting & Licenses team and work at our Bethesda, Maryland headquarters. You will prepare monthly rent and other recurring payments, processexpenses, and help prepare reports.You will understand accounting principles. You will report to the Manager, Real Estate Accounting.You will
- Prepare monthly rent and other recurring payments through Lucernex and Lawson, process other rent expenses, and help prepare the monthly rent report for approval
- Process CAM reconciliations and calculate adjustment payments based on the lease agreement and our payment history.
- Process license renewals
- Process invoices for payment within an automated environment, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, proper authorizations, and proper coding
- Ensure that invoice submissions comply with Company requirements
- Upload invoices from Lucernex to Lawson Accounts Payable
- Prepare journal entries for adjustments and month-end accruals
- Perform research on payments and outstanding checks
- Reconcile accrual accounts and prepare account reconciliations
- Prepare monthly sales report submissions
- Develop knowledgebase in accounting systems and participate in system testing and enhancements

Compensation may vary based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, market location, job-related knowledge, skills and / or experience.
