The Lease Analyst III will support land operations under the Land Administration team. Researching large volume of leases with the effects of shut-in payments, operations and production. Required to assess large volume of leases and lease information with proper coding for applicable deductions.
Activités
- Perform new lease set up as well as lease maintenance in exploration efforts as well as property acquisitions.
- Input lease information in land system with relationship to lease agreements, assignments, unit designations and area of mutual interest agreements.
- Process high volume of ownership changes by documenting proper transfer documents.
- Analyze when insufficient title exists and request curative instruments from owners or title brokers when necessary.
- Will interact with royalty and working interest owners to ensure proper and timely payments when needed.
- Must be able to discern proper ownership transfers and title defects that require curing and suspense.
- Will be expected to organize and process large volume of ownership documentation.
- 10 years of in-house oil and gas experience.
- Barnett Shale experience
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business or another related field.
- Prior experience using Enertia, LandVantage and Land GIS a plus
- Must be well versed with all lease functions and obligations
- Strong written and verbal communication
