Your Role:
As a Network Field Engineer with Totality Solutions, you will be an integral part of a team that designs, installs, and maintains advanced network systems. You’ll take on projects that challenge your technical skills and allow you to grow as a professional in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Installation & Configuration: Lead the installation and configuration of structured cabling, fiber optics, and CCTV systems (both IP and analog) across commercial, retail, and industrial environments.
- Technical Problem Solving: Utilize your diagnostic skills to troubleshoot complex network and system issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
- Project Leadership: Collaborate closely with project managers to ensure that projects are completed on time, within scope, and to the highest standards.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct comprehensive testing, validation, and documentation to ensure that all systems meet industry standards and client expectations.
- Client Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients on-site, providing expert guidance and maintaining strong professional relationships.
Qualifications:
- Experience: At least 3 years in network cabling, fiber optics, or CCTV systems, with a strong focus on IP and analog technologies.
- Certifications: BICSI Technician, CompTIA A , Net , CCNA, or equivalent certifications are highly desired.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting structured cabling and CCTV systems.
- Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and a client-focused approach.
- Mobility: Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for travel to various sites across the Columbia, SC area.
