TotalMed Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Telemetry for a challenging opportunity in Indiana.
Job Details
- Skill: Telemetry experience, BLS required, NIH certified, Epic charting or similar EMR experience, Alaris IV pump experience
- Type of Patients: Observation, inpatient (common diagnoses: chest pain, stroke, CHF, CKD, COPD, failure to thrive, alcohol withdrawal with CIWA)
- Dress Code: Scrub Color: Dark Navy Blue
Work Environment
The unit information includes 33 beds and patient ratios of 6:1. Equipment used on the unit includes Alaris IV pumps, feeding pumps, occasional chest tubes and PCA pumps, Vocera (communication device), Rovers (cell phones with Epic capabilities), Pyxis (medication dispensing system), Phillips telemetry. The Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system used is Epic.
Requirements
Must have skills/experience in telemetry, BLS, NIH certification, and Epic charting or similar EMR experience. Preferred skillset/experience includes CAPD (peritoneal dialysis).
