About the Job:
TotalMed Staffing is seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to join our team. As a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, you will be responsible for operating ultrasound equipment to perform general, vascular and/or cardiac procedures/studies. You will accurately differentiate between normal and pathologic findings, review patient medical records, and position patients for accurate ultrasound procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate ultrasound equipment to perform procedures/studies
- Differentiate between normal and pathologic findings
- Review patient medical records
- Position patients for accurate ultrasound procedures
- Maintain records in accordance with regulatory agencies
Requirements:
- Medical Sonographer (RDMS) registration with Abdomen issued by ARDMS
- Vascular Technologist (RVT) registration issued by ARDMS
- Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS-AE) registration with Adult Echo issued by ARDMS
- BLS certification issued by AHA
- Advanced training beyond High School in Sonography
