Job Summary
TotalMed Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse to fill a Charge Nurse position. This role is ideal for a dedicated and compassionate nurse who wants to make a difference in the lives of our patients and residents.
About the Role
The Charge Nurse will work collaboratively with the Director to achieve organizational and departmental goals. This position requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to coordinate and direct total nursing care for an assigned group of residents/patients.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and direct total nursing care for an assigned group of residents/patients
- Assist the Director in achieving organizational and departmental goals
- Participate in patient/resident and family teaching
- Provide leadership and support to ancillary nursing and other resident/patient team members
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 2-year College degree (Associates Degree)
- 3 years minimum nursing experience
- Active State of Maine or Compact RN license
- BLS certification required

Additional Details
