We are currently seeking an experienced Histology Technician to join our team of medical professionals. As a Histology Technician, you will play a vital role in the preparation and analysis of tissue samples for microscopic examination by pathologists.
Your responsibilities will include preparing tissue samples for histological examination, embedding tissue samples in paraffin wax, and ensuring proper orientation of the tissue. You will also be responsible for operating specialized equipment such as automated stainers, coverslippers, and slide dryers.
You will work closely with pathologists, laboratory supervisors, and other medical professionals to ensure the smooth processing and analysis of tissue samples.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or related field
- 1 year of experience as a Histology Technician
- Strong knowledge of histology techniques and procedures
