Responsibilities:
- Administer magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) exams to patients under the guidance of a radiologist.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all MRI procedures performed.
- Operate and maintain MRI equipment according to manufacturer's instructions and facility policies.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date with advances in MRI technology and best practices.
Requirements:
- Current certification as an MRI Technologist from the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT).
- At least 2 years of experience working as an MRI Technologist in a hospital or clinical setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to lift and move patients and equipment as needed.
